Andreas Brenner and Simon Amann awarded DGaO's young scientist prizes
Both young scientist prizes awarded by the German Society for Applied Optics (DGaO) for 2024 went to ITO graduates: Andreas Brenner was honored for his master's thesis entitled “Calibration of light modulators with physically interpretable neural networks.” The jury awarded the 2024 best dissertation prize to Dr. Simon Amann for his doctoral thesis “Novel concepts for the realization of a miniaturized computed tomography imaging spectrometer.” We applaud the prize winners!
