Repair injured organs directly in the body with bio-3D printing

The EndoPrint3D research project aims to develop an endoscopic bio-3D printer that can be used to perform minimally invasive surgery on organ damage in the body. The interdisciplinary consortium of the University of Stuttgart, consisting of the Institute of Technical Optics (ITO), 4th Physical Institute (4.PI) and the Institute of Biomaterials and Biomolecular Systems (IBBS) is now funded by the Carl Zeiss Foundation with the CZS Wildcard program.
