Printoptix GmbH convinced the jury with its innovative 3D-printed micro-camera lens. The €25,000 prize was presented by Stuttgart's mayor Dr. Frank Nopper.
The startup develops research-based 3D printing technology for micro-optics of all kinds. Products already developed and commercialized include miniature endoscopes for medical applications and ultra-small cameras and displays that can be used for AR/VR applications or sensors.
